Arlington was keured in Neumunster, Germany by the German Trakehner Verband. He is fully licensed by the Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar, German Trakehner and American Trakehner Verbands.
As a riding horse, Arlington displays a tremendous work ethic, is willing and forgiving, and is a true gentleman in every sense. He has been trained to Intermediare I, and competed internationally at this level in Europe, consistently scoring in the mid to upper 60's. Prior to his dressage career he had many placings in show jumping competitions in Europe.
He is the son of the Elite Stallion Ravel, the prestigious Grand Prix Dressage stallion, with dozens of wins and outstanding get to his credit. His grandsire, Mahagoni, is the sire of Peron, the highest-placed American dressage horse at the '96 Olympics. Arlington's pedigree includes the foundation stallions of Donauwind and Pregel, both descendants of the famous jumping stallion, Abdullah.
Arlington produces leggy foals of good bone, with active hind legs and good energy. He combines well with both heavier and lighter type mares. Foal owners comment that his foals are easy to handle and a pleasure to own. |
