Ichi-Ban was imported from Germany and approved by the American Trakehner Association in 1999. He completed his 3-day eventing performance requirements in 2000.
He is the noble son of the Premium Trakehner Stallion Polarpunkt, who has produced six approved sons in Europe. Ichi-Ban's grandsire, the Elite Trakehner Stallion E.H. Arogno, is proclaimed by the German Trakehner Verband to produce riding horses of the very best type.
Ichi-Ban has successfully competed through Second Level dressage, with many 1st place wins and hi-point USDF awards to his credit. He earned the ATA 2003 Reserve Champion Horse of the Year, USAE Grand Champion Hunter Stallion, Region 9, and USDF Region 6 Hi-Point Trakehner.
Ichi-Ban consistently stamps his offspring with his incredibly kind temperament, and uphill, ground-covering gaits. He crosses well with both warmblood and thoroughbred mares, producing very modern, versatile sporthorses. |
